Pony-style calf leather is precious and delicate. It is the result of a specific tanning process which preserves the animal’s natural hair. Any possible variations in a color testify to the authenticity of the leather.
Clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, working in direction of the hair.
To maintain the smooth look of the hair, do not rub it, brush it and avoid contact with abrasive substances or surfaces.
It is important to allow your sneakers to air naturally, and to this end they possess a removable insole. If your sneakers become wet, simply remove the insole and leave them to dry in a cool, well-ventilated place. This will ensure additional comfort when they are next worn.
Avoid contact with water, any substance containing alcohol (perfumes, solvents etc) or oil (makeup) and abrasive products in general. If the shoes have been in contact with water, it is important to allow them to dry thoroughly on shoe trees before cleaning them.
Always use a shoehorn when putting shoes on.
Keep your shoes in the two felt pouches provided and store them in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
